The PORT Teen Center is a youth-driven teen center which provides a safe, enriching, and dynamic atmosphere for area teenagers. It strives to be a hip, chem.-free alternative in the social life of teenagers, as well as offering educational opportunities to expand their intellectual, emotional, and physical lives. 

The PORT also runs The PORT Outdoors Outing Club, open to all Freeport High School students. Several outing are planned each year and students have the opportunity to develop outdoor and leadership skills as well as build confidence and develop group dynamics.
