2014 marks the first year of the Get Growing Maine campaign. Get Growing Maine is a statewide marketing and fundraising campaign, sponsored by the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets and Johnny’s Selected Seeds. The purpose of the campaign is to celebrate the beginning of the spring/summer growing season in Maine, while promoting Johnny’s Selected Seeds to home gardeners and fundraising for the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets and individual participating Maine farmers’ markets. You can purchase your ticket(s) online by scrolling down and entering your information. Note: each raffle ticket you buy counts as 1 entry into the $500 grand prize/statewide pool.
In addition to online sales, 10 participating markets will sell raffle tickets at $3/ea through the market’s central information booth or other convenient central location, with a per market prize of a $100 gift certificate to Johnny’s Selected Seeds. Raffle sales will happen during normal business hours from May 10th-May 25th. In addition, each at-market raffle participant will be automatically entered in a statewide pool for the chance to win the $500 gift certificate to Johnny’s Selected Seeds. Each individual ticket purchase (online or at market) will result in an entry to win the $500 Grand Prize. Proceeds from at-market raffle sales at each market will be split 50/50 between the participating market and the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets.
