Ronan Winter (Class of 1985) was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer and passed away peacefully in the US on May 10th, 2014.  He left behind his wife, Diane, and his two daughters, Keelan and Keara.  http://https//www.facebook.com/groups/305357816289120/

Ronan worked for as long as he could through his battle until he suffered a stroke that caused him to lose his ability to eat or speak.  Diane had been working non-stop to keep Ronan comfortable through his fight.  The family's financial situation changed in early 2013, when he and his wife canceled their life assurance policy in order to help save for their daughters' college tuition funds.  Needless to say - medical, mortgage, household bills and daily living expenses mounted and, as such, all the family savings (inc college funds) have been depleted.
