LATE BREAKING NEWS -- Free raffle entry for massage (see below)

Selah's Story:

After many, many months of waiting, Angela Kantz finally got the call last December: They were chosen. A birth mom wanted their family to adopt her unborn baby girl. Selah was born in January 2014, joining big brother Noah in the Kantz home.

Thrilled with their sweet family addition, Ben and Angela gulped at unexpected costs: Several trips between Oregon (their home) and Florida (the birth mom's home), Florida adoption agency fees in addition to the Oregon adoption agency fees, plus housing in Florida. Earlier fund raising and their savings account did not cover the $30,000. Since bringing Selah home they've chipped away at the cost -- let's help them pay down a portion more before Thanksgiving.

Through the generosity of businesses and individuals, we have several incredible prizes lined up for the Selah Adoption Raffle. Buy tickets! Tell your friends! Buy tickets for your friends! Help us meet our $6,000 goal...winning a prize is the icing on the cake.

FREE MASSAGE RAFFLE TICKET:

Open Hands Massage Therapy has donated a 1-hour massage. Tickets for this prize are given automatically to anyone buying at least five tickets (or donating at least $50).

Please note:

  1. All funds go to North Valley Friends Church adoption fund. Currently, this adoption fund benefits Ben & Angela Kantz in their second adoption.
  2. If you prefer, you may purchase a ticket in person or by mail. Please email Amy at fortmacy [at] gmail [dot] com for details.
  3. If you have questions, please email Kimberly at feltonfollies [at] gmail [dot] com.

FAQ --

Is my contribution via the raffle tax-deductible?

The cost of raffle tickets is not tax-deductible, so you will not receive a receipt from North Valley Friends Church.

How can I make a contribution to offset the Kantz adoption cost without buying a raffle ticket? Three options:

  1. Purchase as many tickets as you would like for your donation, but specify "donation only" instead of a prize.
  2. Send a check to: North Valley Friends Church; 4020 N College St.; Newberg, OR  97132. Make the check payable to: North Valley Friends Church (or NVFC); memo line: adoption fund.
  3. Use a credit or debit card for your donation via Paypal.com or Stripe.com.

(You will receive a receipt for contributions not applicable to the raffle.)

May I buy tickets with cash or check, instead of online?

Yes, you may. Just mail a check to North Valley Friends Church (address above) with a note enclosed indicating which prizes your raffle tickets are for. Or, if you live in the area, you may connect with Amy via email to work out details for paying in person, with cash. Email fortmacy [at] gmail [dot] com.
