Help Us: Raising Money for Brandon Rinehart Dredging Court and Attorney Fee's
If your in the Small Scale Mining Community, You have probably heard of the Rinehart Court Battle Currently going on. The PLP (Public Lands for the People), AMRA (American Mining Rights Association) the New 49'rs, and Western Mining Alliance, have been hard at work fighting our overreaching Government, both on the State and Local side, as well as with the Federal Side. PLP has been hard at if for years protecting your rights, along with several other mining associations, all contributing to the legal costs. Now with the Third Appellate District of California, agreeing to consider the federal preemption argument in the Brandon Rinehart case. This is a VERY important case for Small Scale Miners, especially with Dredgers. A win for this case could get dredgers back in the water as early as next season, as well as setting precedent for other states, not only in legal theories, but also what we are up against in the State of California, and with anti-mining activists. This federal preemption battle is perhaps the most legal challenge that has ever been mounted on behalf of small-scale miners.
