The LA Dragons were established in 2010 by a group of enthusiastic Australians who wanted to extend the bounds of the great game of Aussie Rules in California. Since that time, the Club has played in 3 Division II National Championship Finals, & in 2014 took home their first trophy as Division II National Champions.
In 2015, the Dragons are for the first time sending 2 sides to compete at the National Championships in Austin, Texas. The Club's playing roster has now grown to over 50 players, & with this comes extra challenges. This is where your donations & raffle ticket purchases will provide support. As our major fundraiser for the year, funds raised will go toward covering the cost of equipment, field hire, accommodations, club insurance & fees that will allow for the Dragons to reach their goal of bringing 2 more Championship trophies back to LA on October 19th.
There are some great prizes on offer. Please spread the word, purchase some tickets & we look forward to seeing you for the raffle drawing at our AFL Grand Final event on October 2nd at Busby's West in Santa Monica.
