The Hinsdale Central Baseball Club is organized to provide financial and operational support to our high school Red Devils Baseball program. The volunteer, non-profit organizaton is administered by an eight member Board of Directors, with added support from a large group of team parents. The Club works closely with Hinsdale Central athletic director Dan Jones and head coach Jason Ziemer, to identify both short-term equipment needs and long-term capital improvement projects.
Our ability to meet the program's funding needs depends significantly on the raffle results. First, the Club funds more than 85% of annual program costs. Recurring spending includes practice and game baseballs, batting helmets, umpire fees and field maintenance equipment. Second, after many years of minimal maintenance and no investment, the surrounding infrastructure needs immediate attention.
2015 was a year of significant accomplishments for the Red Devils program. With your help, the Baseball Club:

- Renovated the exterior/interior of the dugouts with new seating, bat racks and player cubicles
- Added a new home run fence and banners in left field (see picture above)
- Constructed a new brick entry sidewalk replacing a dirt path
- Renovated the exterior of the 60-year old Devil Diner, adding exterior stairs and storage
