Boston Terrier Rescue Canada (BTRC) is a registered Canadian non-profit organization made up entirely of unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in Canada.

Our mission is to provide safe, temporary refuge leading to a loving, permanent home for Boston Terriers through rescue, education, advocacy and compassion.

Our program takes in Boston Terriers that are abandoned, neglected, abused or that can no longer be cared for by their owners and we provide them with a safe haven, medical care, training, support and TLC. Our ultimate goal is to match every dog with a permanent, loving home through our careful adoption process.

Being a nation-wide organization, we do not have a central shelter facility. Instead, we rely solely upon a network of kind and caring volunteer foster homes to help the dogs transition from their previous life to their future forever homes.

We do not receive any government funding therefore we can only rely on the generosity of our giving volunteers and you, the public, in our fundraising efforts. Every penny we raise goes directly to the needs of the dogs in our care.

  • Handmade Custom Quilt

This beautifully handcrafted quilt was lovingly created by one of BTRC's volunteers with each of the squares created and donated by BTRC volunteers from across Canada. The batting is an 80/20 cotton/poly blend, the backing is 100% cotton, and the quilt was professionally machine quilted. The quilt can be machine-washed in cold water on gentle cycle and should be hung to dry or low tumble air/dry. The quilt is not intended for children/s bedding because of the embellishments.
