Windham Child Care Association is the region's number one community child care support organization. We offer many programs and services for children, families, and early childhood educators to ensure access to high-quality child care is available to all children in Windham County, including:

Child and Adult Care Food Program reimburses participating child care programs for a portion of their expenses for providing USDA approved meals to the children in their care.

Child Care Financial Assistance Program assists families in accessing the state-sponsored child care financial assistance program and other state benefits.

Child Care Referral Program provides counseling and referral support for all families needing child care.

Children’s Integrated Services Specialized Child Care Services provides a continuum of supports to children and families with identified specialized needs, as well as to early childhood educators who provide services for these children and families.

Early Educator Mentor Program connects experienced early educators with those new to the field or in need of additional support.

Early Learning Express provides literacy experiences for very young children and resources, materials and activities to child care programs.

Farm to Preschool Initiative includes professional development focused on gardening and nutrition, a program that brings healthy food to child care programs as well as a CSA that serves family child care providers.

Professional Development Calendar of workshops help early educators earn the training hours required for regulated care in Vermont and improve program quality.

Sprouts Early Learning Cooperative offers flexible scheduling and extended hours for families who need child care during the evening hours.
