Renowned Karuk artist Brian Tripp (BDT) has generously donated this beautiful piece entitled "Ship Captain and Crew" to support the fundraising efforts of the this year's 8th grade graduates of Orleans Elementary School, which is located in Karuk ancestral territory.

The 2015 OES graduating class is Lelencia Pole and Basil Conrad, both bright, vibrant, compassionate, and contributive members of their community. These two and their families have worked hard all year to finance their yearend trip to the San Francisco/Bay Area where they will be touring universities, visiting museums, historical and popular tourist sites, and more. Coming from a rural area, this trip is a wonderful opportunity for these to get exposed to different places and cultures, and have new experiences.
