We are very excited to announce the start of our annual fundraiser for Josue Andres Memorial Scholarship. Our goal is to raise enough funds so that we can provide a scholarship for one student. Josue Andres Romero is remembered by his friends and family for being upbeat, athletic, and a leader in his community. He is from a large and passionate family that wanted to do something to honor his memory. Romero lost his life in a tragic car accident but his name goes on to shape the future. Scholarship applicants go through a screening process that makes this an exclusive scholarship for the right young leader.  Applicants are required to submit one essay, two letters of recommendation, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and show they are active in the community.

Your support through the purchase of tickets is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us reach our fundraising goal. Business donations will receive acknowledgement and a link on our website. The J.A.R fund (a pending 501c3) will help a successful student go on to college. Many Union City High School families struggle to pay expensive college tuitions. Your support honors the memory of Josue and changes the world through education.
