River Cities Therapy and Recreation Center, Inc. is located in Milton, WV. We are a non-profit equine assisted therapy program that is dependent on community support and program fees. We have provided therapy and recreation activities since 1995 and are proud of our efforts. http://rctrc.org/
On May 16, 2015 we will be hosting our first American Competitive Trail Road Association (ACTHA) Arena Obstacle challenge followed by a Pig/Fowl Roast and Family Fun Day. The Plop-Drop will happen on that day. The following day, May 17, 2015 we will start the morning off with a church service at the arena by Pastor Lynn Cartwright from Milton United Methodist Church, Milton, WV. Then the 2nd Arena Obstacle Challenge will occur.
We have 30 riders per week, plus do Birthday Parties, Field Trips and other equine teaching activities to help continue our programs.
Please help us - make sure that we can feed our horses, purchase the veterinarian services and provide the services to children, youth and adults to ensure that they develop Confidence, Independence and Character.
