This Relay cabinet is a custom version of his Legba 4×12 design. The word Legba means “The keeper of the Gates of Sound”
The Legba 4×12 is the largest sounding cab with the widest sound dispersion in the world. It is perfect for large and outdoor venues. Legba is fast reacting with a clarity, depth and warmth that will cut through any mix. It lets your amps tone shine through and does not color your tone. Legba has more adjustable Bass, Mids and Highs than any guitar cab the guitar industry is accustomed to and is very perceptive to changes in your amps tone stack or Eq.

Purple was the obvious color to go with the pink speaker frames. The silver hardware and transparent mahogany back tinted in purple are to symbolize elegance and beauty. The full steel grill is a symbol for a full Vail of protection and the Diamond plated front is a symbol of beauty and strength. The 4x12 as a whole represents strength, teamwork, unity, family and the power we have when we all join forces for the greater good.
EarCandy’s ported baffle allows the speakers to breath with the air coming in and out of the cab. Because of the way the porting is spread, the speakers are completely in phase & floating. The speakers don’t have to fight gravity or air pressure. They get exactly what they need which allows for more warmth, sustain, tone, clarity, volume and sound dispersion all the way through the frequency spectrum of any guitar you play through this cab.
The intentional 6 space porting design will thicken and broaden the immense tone, volume and sound pressure level coming out of the cab. The 6×2 Black space porting designed by EarCandy affords the player the ability to decimate the sound, tone and volume coming from any other cab and is no coincidence that the 6×2 BSP = 12”, the same amount of surface area of a 12” speaker.
This cab is not beamy in any way Because of our porting design, the entire area in front of and beside the cab is the sweet spot. The cab is warm but does cut through and project your tone at unbelievable performance levels.
You will experience a 180 degree sound dispersion, when you walk around the stage, the cab will sound the same everywhere, you do not have to be directly in front of the cab to audibly benefit from the tone of the cab. This cab sounds excellent for anything from Jazz, Country and blues to de-tuned Heavy Metal and will blanket your audience in immense guitar tone with extreme prejudice.
Unlike 99% of other 4×12’s available, there is no false lip on the front edge of the Legba 4×12, this unnecessary 2” lip is for weak, poorly designed rear loading cabs. The Legba 4×12 is also totally different in its internal design in the fact that, it does not contain that annoying post that runs from the front to the back of the cab for stabilization and to keep the back of the cab from rattling. In place of that old out dated design, the Legba uses ALL ¾” real tone woods and utilizes EarCandy’s traditional “framed house” design.
