Blue Mountains Conservancy is busier than ever bringing more natural history programing and volunteer conservation opportunities to the NE Oregon community than ever before.

Our Heart of the Blues Lecture and Outing series brings fun, informative learning opportunities to Union and Baker counties. From salmon restoration and bumblebee conservation to native wildflower and the ecology of beavers, our talks and walks are becoming a very popular way to connect more deeply to the natural and human history of our beautiful region.

We are also actively involved in native plant restoration and wetland/riparian protection on the Mount Emily Recreation area as well as on Conservancy owned land. Improving wildlife habitat and enhancing the human experience are priorities for the Conservancy.

As always, Blue Mountains Conservancy is also deeply engaged in and committed to providing landowners with the opportunity to place permanent, voluntary protections on private lands through conservation easements. Conservation easements help protect the rural character and natural legacy of our special corner of NE Oregon by preserving the landscape, the open spaces and the rural way of life.

By supporting our work you will be helping to keep the Heart of the Blues programs alive and ensuring that we can continue to reach out to landowners to let them know about the important conservation opportunities available to them.
