Dear Friends,

We request your help in support of the staff at Faith Presbyterian Child Development Center.

 

After 45 years of service, Faith CDC will be closing on November 27.  Faith CDC's mission is to provide high quality child care and to support children of all income levels, but due to lack of sufficient funding, it will cease operations.

 

Faith CDC staff, led by Margie Calderon, have worked diligently to both nurture the Center's children and improve the financial situation, and they are remaining at the Center until the very last day to ensure that children in attendance have child care. Some of the staff have worked at Faith CDC for many years (one teacher has worked there for over 20 years), and they must now begin the search for a new job opportunity which could take many months.

 

We would like to support the staff and thank them for their many years of nurturing, caring, and teaching our children by alleviating some of the financial burden associated with job transition.

 

We are grateful for your help spreading this message and encouraging friends and family to purchase a raffle ticket or two.
