The Hannah Geneser Foundation (www.hannahgeneserfoundation.org), in a collaboration with Power Life Yoga and West Glen Town Center, will hold our annual fundraiser – Yoga @ the Glen for Hannah Geneser Foundation – on July 11, 2015.
 
Since inception, the Foundation has focused on our core mission: To promote the general cause of childhood safety – with special emphasis on window safety – through public awareness and educational opportunities. In addition, our organization advocates for and supports organ and tissue donation. Our work has led us to key partnerships with Blank Children's Hospital and Safe Kids Iowa, as well as the Iowa Donor Network.

Hannah was a multiple organ donor, giving the gift of sight to two different individuals. Her heart valves were used to save the life of a 7-month-old boy with a severe heart defect.  Hannah’s Foundation partners with the Iowa Donor Network to share Hannah’s story, accentuating the importance of organ donation.   Jamie and Shanda will be representing Iowa in the 2016 Transplant Games.
