Nick Kroeger is a 16 yr old junior at Norfolk Senior High School. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left tibia in December 2014. He started chemotherapy at UNMC in Omaha on New Year’s Eve and has undergone 2 rounds so far. On March 17th he had surgery requiring amputation of the left leg up to the middle of his thigh, in order to remove the cancerous tumor. After a short recovery time he resumed chemo. Unfortunately the cancer has returned in his lymph nodes and lungs. Nick has since traveled to the Mayo clinic and has been accepted into a trail treatment plan. Nick is fighting his illness with a smile on his face. Help Nick continue the fight!
