5 weeks of Summer

Help Us: Our Goal is to help raise money for an independent charity called The Clonakilty Children’s Project who raise money to support projects directly related to children or to wider charities that affect children through their families.

This Raffle Ended on September 27, 2015

It's officially 5 weeks left of Summer! So let's end this season with a bang and try and help out families and children who have been less fortunate than ourselves. Our inspiration for this charity raffle are two wonderful girls, Poppy and Rosy, who suffered from cancer for most of their short lives. You can read about their amazing story on our website tweetforrosy.co.uk; a story that became a world wide sensation overnight...

Both girls had been through more suffering than anyone could imagine, but they are both an inspiration to us all. This is one of the reasons for the choice of Charity, to help other children cope in adversity. What makes our chosen charity a bit different is that as they are not affiliated to a national organisation and can be choosy about what their money is spent on. We would like to see the results of the money we have raised, as I am sure other people who become a part of this fundraiser would to, which is why we believe this charity is special.

So far we've raised Just over £90 with the raffle and over £120 for the charity cake sale! Not bad for a CD and some home made cakes... but can we raise more?

    The story behind the Signed 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) CD is quite an amazing one..


    Due to the kind support from so many people whilst Rosy was sick we had received a signed CD from 5SOS themselves. Unfortunately Rosy passed away before she ever received it. We therefore decided we wanted some good to come from it, which is why we have created this raffle, in the hope it will bring other people happiness.
