People Over Borders has been set up by a like minded collective of Musicians, Promoters & DJs with the aim of doing something about the indignant treatment and living conditions of Syrian refugees. Seeing people flee to save their lives, and many of them losing that fight, was too much for us to see. Feeling helpless or unable to do anything about this became an issue that had to be turned around and in less than a week People Over Borders had an identity, an amazing list of artists to perform, a great and understanding venue in The Deaf Institute, a mighty list of generous donations for this raffle and, most importantly, a great charity to work with to channel everyone's efforts into for the greater good.
