Medical Patient Modesty (MPM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to help patients and their families who wish to have same gender care for certain procedures and/or surgeries get their wishes. We also educate patients and medical professionals about how to reduce unnecessary intimate exams and unnecessary exposure. For example, patients should be able to wear 100% cotton underwear for many surgeries that involve only knee, hand, etc.
