Why Breast Cancer Care WA needs your help.
Christmas is a time to forget all our troubles and just enjoy being with loved ones… particularly if you’ve had a really difficult year. But when you have breast cancer - unfortunately your troubles don't go away just because it's Christmas.

Many people who call Breast Cancer Care WA are desperate to try to find meaning in the devastating diagnosis that has rocked their lives.

Others go from perfectly normal lives to life changing surgery and fear for the future. Most have to stop work while they undergo treatment, or while they care for someone who is very ill and unable to care for themselves or their children. With no income they need help to buy food, pay their rent or mortgage, manage housework and young children.

How we help.
When you’re living with breast cancer and need someone to talk to, there’s no one better than our wonderful breast cancer care nurses and counsellors. Breast Cancer Care WA is a charity that provides personalised emotional, practical and financial support and care to people affected by breast cancer. This includes carers and family who have their own challenges and needs through the experience.

Whether it be the supportive ear of one of our breast care nurses to help make sense of a diagnosis, the relief of financial pressure through payment of household bills or the placement of food on the table during times of financial crisis - our team of trained professionals work holistically to create tailored solutions to the challenges faced by our clients, throughout their entire journey.

How YOU can help.
All our services are funded entirely through donations from people like you and provided FREE of charge to anyone in need who has breast cancer.

We currently have clients in our care who do not know how they will put food on the table at Christmas, let alone buy presents for their kids. Your gift today will help give much needed relief to people who are already doing it so tough.
