During the holiday shopping season, Des Moines' Historic East Village sees thousands of visitors, many of whom have never been to our neighborhood before. The East Village Neighborhood Association would like to welcome them and celebrate this magical time of year with outdoor holiday decorations and lights. This process costs thousands of dollars to add new lights, install and take down the lights, as well as expand our reach to beautify the neighborhood.
We depend on your support to help make our neighborhood welcoming throughout the year, but especially now as we raise funds to make the area visually festive. |
