On August 10th, 2015 without warning Alpine Autism Center was devastated by flash flooding.  Alpine's location in the Waldo Canyon burn scar made it ground zero for the flash flooding that occurred. The intensity of the floodwaters washed away cars and other large objects on Stoneridge Rd. which is immediately downhill of our center on Fieldstone Rd.

The building houses intensive 1-to-1 ABA services for approximately 40 children with varying degrees of autism spectrum disorder.  The damage to the building externally and especially internally was extensive.  We are unable to have children in the center and are having to utilize alternate sites which are not ideal for our needs until clean up is complete.  In addition to the extensive structural damage, many toys and therapy tools were destroyed by the water and mud that entered the closed doors. This year, we are doing a "Steins for Alpine" event at Colorado Mountain Brewery the night of November 6th.

The Denver Broncos were so kind and gave us a signed John Elway 8x10 photo and a signed football from the 2014 team. We are holding a raffle drawing at our event for these items and wanted to open it up to everyone reguardless of where you are! You do NOT have to be present to win! Each raffle ticket is $10 or 3 for $20. ALL proceeds go back directly to the Alpine Autism Center and our flood recovery efforts. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions!
