Help Us: Help us raise funds to continue reuniting lost pets

Prize is worth $400 rrp (kittens not included) and contains:
an awesome pyramid cat tower from Belco Pets, an upcycled iMac cat house from Cat Stuff Cat Enclosures, a deep dish plush bed, a laser toy, a beautiful cat-themed scarf, as well as a hamper full of cat toys!


At Canberra Lost Pet Database we are more than just a facebook page for lost & found pets.

In addition to running the facebook page our volunteer team spends considerable time and money also:
  • Retrieving deceased cats and dogs (over 20 deceased cats picked up so far in 2016 and several dogs)
  • Coming out to catch dogs, rabbits, pigeons and other animals.
  • Attending to found dogs and scanning them for microchips
  • Pet taxi transporting found dogs or other animals to vets/RSPCA/pound when the finder is unable to do so
  • Lending out cat & dog traps
  • Catching long term missing dogs
These activities can sometimes be quite costly. Catching skittish dogs sometimes requires many days of travelling back and forth to the site, monitoring traps, laying out food. In addition there are administrative costs such as public liability insurance, domain name registration, and costs associated with printing information leaflets, and lost pet flyers.

To continue to be able to run these services for free we need to raise some money to cover costs.
