San Diego's "Neuter Scooter" run by the Spay Neuter Action Project (SNAP) is hosting the "Get on the Bus" Campaign kick-off party at the renowned Mangelsen Gallery in La Jolla this  Saturday, February 6th, 12-2 pm 

In addition to honoring National Spay & Neuter Awareness Month that falls in February, SNAP will celebrate 55,000  "fixes" aboard the iconic mobile pet clinic, Neuter Scooter 1.

Gallery attendees can learn about ways to support SNAP's mission of ending pet overpopulation through prevention and join in the excitement of assisting more low-income pet owners in San Diego County when “Neuter Scooter 2” is unveiled.!   Many local philanthropists, including Bill and Lori Walton's "Cortez",  the Engman's "Ben & Amy", all have their pets featured on the original Neuter Scooter 1. You can too! This $2500 sponsorship opportunity is our grand prize offered to everyone entering this raffle!  You can win the grand prize of a featured photo of your dog or cat on Neuter Scooter 2! You can also win a clinic sponsored in your name (SNAP fixes 25-30 pets per day on the Neuter Scooter!) or other great prizes. 

Mangelsen Gallery is a pet-friendly event so pets on leash are welcomed! If you are looking for a buddy, pet adoptions will be taking place near the entrance of the gallery. There will also be free Pet Reiki and oil essence demos, gift bags for attendees, and the winner announced for the  raffle: one winner to receive a complimentary photo of his or her pet featured on Neuter Scooter 2. Light refreshments will be served.

To show support for SNAP during National Spay & Neuter Awareness Month, Muttropolis and Ark Antiques in La Jolla are "collecting" donations and inviting patrons to show their support by decorating the business walls with colorful paw prints.
