The biennial Canberra Camp is a great opportunity for 30 country kids from Gayndah State School in Gayndah, Queensland, to travel to our nation's capital and learn more about our great country.

A special moment for students will be their visit the Australian War Memorial, where they will pay their respects to Gayndah soldier and past Gayndah State School student Jacob Moerland.  Highlights for students will include visits to Qestacon - the National Science and Technology Centre, Canberra Zoo, Parliament House, the Australian Mint and a day spent at the snowfields.

This is a tremendous and potentially life-changing trip for many of the children involved.  It does however cost a substantial fee so we are fundraising to reduce this cost down for participating families.

This fundraiser is being undertaken by Gayndah State School Parents and Citizens Association on behalf of the Year 5/6 students.
