About the Guitar

With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the PRS Hollowbody II has been a constant favorite in PRS’s dynamic lineup of semi-hollow instruments. The combination of the ‘ten-top’ maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance.

The PRS/LR Baggs Piezo System comes standard, providing musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. There are two output jacks on the Hollowbody II, allowing guitarists to plug into their favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the Hollowbody II’s 57/08 pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.

About Tidewater Arts Outreach
Tidewater Arts Outreach (Norfolk, VA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to share the joy and healing power of the arts with people who have special needs. We do this by matching area artists with opportunities to share their creativity and compassion in area dependent care settings, providing training, information and resources for artists and caregivers and advocating for the benefits of quality arts programming.

Some of the benefits of music and arts programs include:
  • Enrich the soul, stimulate the mind and promote wellness;
  • Reduce anxiety and consciousness of pain, aid in gaining functional improvements;
  • Create a true sense of community, helping people feel connected, heard and appreciated;
  • Help people to be seen as individuals, not as patients, numbers, job descriptions or diseases;
  • Have the potential to improve staff morale & attract quality staff;
  • Help staff connect culturally with patients, families & other staff from diverse backgrounds;
  • Help people leave an artistic legacy and create a lasting expression.
  In FY15, TAO:
