We've created this raffle as we are passionate about raising money and making a difference in helping find a cure for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

A number of years ago my nephew Carter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of two. Now only a few months ago, a close work collegue's son was diagnosed at the age of nine.

To see the inpacts on both the children effected and the family around them is truly heart retching, it's a series of constant hospital visits, checking of blood sugar levels, insulin shots or pump management, weighing food intake and most of all worry!! The deep dreaded feeling I get when seeing my nephew with what he terms as "jelly legs" is indescribable, you never know if ths will be yet another hospital visit or how bad it may be.

The more people that know about JDRF, the greater the awareness, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
