Gia and Tim Paddock are both Troopers with the New York State Police. Their baby, due early August, has a very rare heart defect which is best cared for in Boston. Their family needs our help due to medical bills as well as the cost of moving far from home, travel costs and more. We are creating the raffle through The Signal 30 Benefit Fund. Piper is going to need possibly several surgeries so she can be strong. Unfortunately the best place for Piper isn't in network, so the monetary cost is high for the family. We are coming together to make Pipers entrance into this world as seamless as possible and trying to take the stress of the cost of everyday living expenses, off of the family so they can focus on staying healthy and happy.
The NYS Troopers PBA Signal 30 Fund was created by the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. The PBA is certified and only officially recognized bargaining representative for the uniformed New York State Troopers. Generally, the purpose of the Signal 30 Fund is to support the members of the New York State Police in extraordinary circumstances such as illness, injury and loss of residences to fires or floods.
