The LA Dragons were established in 2010 by a group of enthusiastic Australians who wanted to extend the bounds of the great game of Aussie Rules in California. Since that time, the Club has played in 3 Division II National Championship Finals, & in 2014 took home their first trophy as Division II National Champions.

2017 Nationals saw the first ever LA Dragons Ladies team finish runners-up in Division 2 and the LA Dragons Mens Team finish runners-ups in Division 1. In 2018, the Dragons Men are vying for the Division 1 trophy for the 4th year running and the Ladies chomping at the bit to take their inaugural title in Division 2 at the National Championships in Racine, Wisconsin.

The Club's playing roster has now grown to over 50 players & with this comes extra challenges. This is where your donations & raffle ticket purchases will provide support. As our major fundraiser for the year, funds raised will go toward covering the cost of equipment, field hire, accommodations, club insurance & fees that will allow for the Dragons to reach their goal of bringing the Championship trophies back to LA on October 21st.

There are some great prizes on offer. Please spread the word, purchase some tickets & we look forward to seeing you for the raffle drawing at our AFL Grand Final event on September 28th at Busby's West in Santa Monica.
