Win a Family 4-pack of Tickets to the 4pm matinee showing of the Vermont Premiere of The Great Gilly Hopkins on Friday, October 7 at 4pm at the Stowe Cinema 3Plex in Stowe, Vt., hosted by Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA), a signed copy of Katherine Paterson's book The Great Gilly Hopkins and meet the author herself! This is the debut of this film based on beloved author and VCFA Trustee Katherine Paterson’s 1979 National Book Award-winning novel.

In the film and book, 12-year-old Gilly Hopkins stays with several families before meeting the Trotters—by far the strangest family she’s lived with yet. Determined to no longer be a foster kid, she devises an elaborate scheme to get her real mother to rescue her, but the plan doesn’t quite work out the way she hopes.

All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Green Mountain United Way. Green Mountain United Way coordinates Tatum's Totes in the Barre and Newport DCF districts and funds raised from this raffle will support these efforts.
