NAMI St. Louis’ mission is to improve the quality of life of persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and their families, and promote and provide community support, education, advocacy and understanding.

The Annual NAMI Gala celebrates leaders and champions in our community, partnering together to build and enhance sustainable recovery-oriented systems and services that improve lives for families and individuals living with mental illness.  This event provides direct funding for family and community education programs that lead to positive life changes and an increase in empowerment for participants, allowing them to more effectively assist and support their loved one with mental illness in their journey toward recovery.  The Annual Gala is attended by mental health service providers, hospital partners, educators, corporate sponsors, and ambassadors.
