On Jan. 7, 2017 the last event in The Year of the Goose will be held to celebrate Mother Goose's (Edwina Williams) 80th birthday and to accomplish our goal of reaching $100,000 for the Edwina Williams Endowment for Children's Literacy & Advancement. We are 80% there!
The Endowment's dividends will go to the Columbus-Lowndes Library to purchase medal-award winning children's books, to fund their Autism Research Center and the Children's Resource Center, and to provide programs to encourage parents to read with children.
For this fun evening we are raffling one item only! A beautiful handcrafted table from Mark Perrott of Mississippi Farm Tables and Chip Gerber of The Steel Forest. The table is dining size and includes 2 benches. Value: $4,000!! (A picture is attached as an example. You will be able to choose your base and top). We will sell tickets online before the gala and also at the gala itself.

You will be able to pick the top and the base style from an array of options. It is handmade and will take 6-8 weeks to make.
