Powell House is bringing back one of our most popular fundraisers to help us get through some dire times! Right now we are at one of our all time highs in Vet bills and medically needy dogs. We just welcomed Stanley from Alabama, an elder,sight impaired Spaniel mix (?) who has lost his fur to infection and neglect.  We have 2 Charlie's now!,one a Poodle mix who almost lost a leg due to the fact he was never groomed and his matts were so severe they cut right to the bone!and a little Shitzu who was rehomed when his family was in need of help. We have Moki,a Yorkie from Alabama also who takes daily medications. When Moki is stronger she will be undergoing surgery to have many tumors removed . Donna who had 28 teeth removed when she was found after being tossed on the streets of Bethlehem Township and will soon be having surgery to remove tumors throughout her body. Puff,Rosie and Cassie need to get to the groomers, Sally and Diamond need to have their nails clipped and Noah's owner has still not returned for him after he was dropped off for "2 weeks" while his owner had surgery-that was almost 5 months ago! Peggy's allergies have gotten better with her daily meds after she was left on a blanket in the woods to die in Bethlehem.....add onto that the bills for Ginger's spay,Cloud's dental surgery and Harry's neuter this past month or so ..... and we have Joey's neuter coming up!and that doesn't count well visits,shots,flea collars,food,meds,....the list goes on and on...we not only take all this on but we also help pay for private cremations and needed supplies for families who cannot afford it.

Powell House Inc is a Hospice and Long Term Animal Rescue in Bethlehem Pa, providing homes for medically needy and older pets. We also assist families with the forever care and rehoming of animals to homes when the owner becomes ill,is moved to any facility that does not allow family pets,or passes away. All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501c3 and rely on donations to house,feed,groom,vet and care for the animals.
