Archbishop Rummel High School has been awarded the opportunity to raffle a rare and collectible vintage-dated bourbon produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery. Buffalo Trace Distillery produces dozens of whiskeys, including the famous Pappy Van Winkle Whiskey and the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection Whiskeys, and we certainly expect this whiskey to live up to their acclaim.
This special release is not available in stores.
This very rare and collectible bourbon, named “O.F.C. Straight Bourbon Whiskey,” honors the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. The bourbon is vintage-dated 1980, which is the specific year that this bourbon was distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery. The bourbon is bottled in hand-cut crystal bottles and is housed in a dark wooden display box. There were only 100 bottles of this 1980-vintage bourbon produced, none of which will be sold in stores. More information on this bourbon can be found at ofcvintages.com
Tickets will be sold for $25 per entry. Tickets are available for purchase through February 27, 2017, and the winner will be drawn on February 28, 2017. The raffle winner will be notified via email. All purchasers must certify that they are at least 21 years of age.
One hundred Percent of the proceeds from this raffle will be used to directly support Archbishop Rummel High School.
