Over the past 2 years Square Mile of London has grown by way of promotion at campus trading days and has made over £59,000 in sales and £23,600 in profits.
Like any business trying to scale up, we are constantly challenged by the need for capital especially as recent guidance means that net profits from trading need to be channelled back to the campus rather than being used to reinvest into the business operations.
We are preparing to take this business to the next level and recently invested in a cabin which is being used for storage and distribution. Right now the business is undergoing a rebrand to provide a strong foundation for marketing. We are commissioning a website which needs to rival the shopping experience of some of the largest high street retailers. We are looking at ways to distribute our products more efficiently through other campus superstores. We are searching for additional products that will serve our customer base.
Whilst all of these activities are exciting, they are much more so when the capital to carry them out is readily on hand.
This is where we’re hoping you might be willing to help!
The infographic below shows the amounts of cash we need for each specific area of the ‘scaling up’ project:
- Re-brand and marketing assets £3000
- Website design and launch £3000
- Product photography £1500
- Ongoing marketing and advertising £1200 per quarter
To make the next move and get this project on the road to success, we need around £10000 on hand from generous sponsors.
