The Cambridge Maryland Rotary Club is running a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for its Community Service Foundation. Each ticket purchased provides the entrants a chance to win 50% of the total proceeds collected. The raffle will close March 31st 2018 at 11 pm EST and the winner will be randomly chosen at the April 5th regular club meeting.
How the Cambridge Rotary Club helps our community:
- We help educate our children through scholarships,
- We give free dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Dorchester County
- We give awards recognizing Dorchester county students and teachers for excellence.
- We build free wheelchair ramps for people in need.
- We revitalized and maintain the Long Wharf WWI Veterans Memorial Fountain and are continuing with improvements to the Long Wharf Park.
- We donate to many local charitable organizations including:
- Salvation Army
- The Cambridge Empowerment Center
- Cold Weather Shelter,
- United Way
- Veteran support organizations
- Many other local charities
