Please join us to raise funds for our Rockland GAA club supporting Hurling and Camogie activities.
It’s a very exciting time to be part of Rockland GAA! However, as we continue to expand the Camogie and Hurling programs in Rockland, the expense has also grown. We are asking for your support so we can continue to grow the fastest game on grass in the world. Click on the link and watch the video that proves it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmzivRetelE
This summer Rockland GAA will open its brand new, state-of-the-art clubhouse - Center of Excellence, which will enable us to continue the growth of our great Irish GAA sports. The Grand Opening weekend is July 7-9, so please mark your calendars. It promises to be a very special weekend with lots of games, music, activities, surprise guests, and of course food and beverages.
If you haven't been out to the field recently, please visit the Rockland GAA Facebook page and/or Website to see pictures. It is an admirable display of what happens when people come together for the greater good of the GAA community.
The Rockland Hurling program continues to thrive! We currently have teams from U-8 to Junior Men's level. In addition, this summer, New York GAA is sending its first ever Connacht Hurling Feile (U-14) team to compete against the best Ireland has to offer. We are excited to have four Rockland GAA players selected to represent the New York team.
Camogie in Rockland also continues to flourish. We now have teams from U-8 to U-16 and this past year added our first Junior Ladies team. In 2017 there will be three new clubs in the Camogie league, for a total of five clubs participating in New York.
Thank you all for your past and future contributions. It is fundraisers like this that allow us to take our great Irish games to next level at the Rockland GAA Club.
