5 years ago today my beautiful sister-in-law Kate was diagnosed with cancer. With the support of her family and friends, she fought like a girl and kicked cancers a$$!! She in now the CEO of critical mass, an organization that works to raise awareness for adolescent and young adult cancers, and provides Mission Control, a free direct patient resources that connects them with programs in their zip code to help pay bills or find providers with age specific resources. To celebrate 5 years, a few local business owners and myself have put together an amazing raffle! We are raffling off a Michael Kors hand bag filled with jewelry, beauty products, and boutique clothing thanks to Whitney Walden, Kaylie Dollison, Dixie Walker and Amanda McGovney.
