Hi everyone, it's me, Chase Jette!  I have been playing hockey since I was 3 years old and this spring I was lucky enough to make the Jr Blackhawks Illinois Brick team!.  For those not familiar with the Brick tournament, it is one of the most prestigious hockey events available for players at the 10 & Under age level. 

One of the privileges of making this team is that we will be travelling to Toronto, Winnipeg and ending with a weeklong Brick tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  In Edmonton, we participate with 14 other Brick Charters in North America (Boston Jr. Bruins, LA Jr. Kings, Team Alberta, Connecticut Yankees, Detroit Jr. Red Wings, Eastern Atlantic Canadian Selects, Minnesota Blades, Montreal Ice Storm, Saskatchewan Jr. Pats, Toronto Bulldogs, Toronto Pro Hockey Development, Vancouver Jr. Canucks and Winnipeg Jr. Jets).  The Brick teams are only comprised of hockey players from the 2007 birth year age group and this tournament offers many young promising hockey players their first opportunity to compete in a very elite international environment. 
 
I am so excited that I made this team and get to wear the Blackhawks Jersey!!!.  To help our team minimize the cost of the Brick international tournament competition, each member of the team has been asked to sell 150 raffle tickets.  The Blackhawks organization has donated a few awesome raffle prizes!  There will be a drawing held on April 20th but you don't have to be there to win them! 
 
I am so excited about this chance to play hockey at this level, and feel very blessed to have been selected to an elite team like this.  Please help me and my team get to Edmonton and earn a chance to win some great prizes!!
