In honor of my first ever studio sale June 24, I am offering a raffle for an original work of my art. You can purchase tickets at the sale or on line. The drawing will be held on Saturday July 1, 2017. Thanks to all who have supported my work through your patronage, guidance, and encouragement.


As a two dimensional, mixed media artist, I work with a variety of materials, including oil, enamel, watercolor, ink, graphite, collage, and digital prints.  The incorporation of decorative patterns and/or text can create another layer of form and meaning. Fabric and wall paper patterns, old advertising labels and magazines, period source material of recipes and consumer goods, etc. make reference to our cultural past, and to my current aesthetics, my own relationships, and to invented narratives.

Please note, my work is currently on view as a solo exhibition, Alternative Facts (1965-2017), at the Schmidt Art Center, in Belleville, IL through August 3 and in a group invitational exhibition, The Imagery of Chess: St. Louis Artists, at the World Chess Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Louis, MO through  September 24.
