Founded by local volunteers in 2010, the International City Farmers Market, (under the umbrella of Land to Hand, Inc, a nonprofit) in Warner Robins, GA provides access to locally grown, seasonal produce and other goods to all people in our community.
We are open year-round, every Thursday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Since 2010, our market has grown from eight vendors to more than 25 vendors and has an average of 1,100 customers each week!
Through our partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia, we offer the Georgia Fresh for Less program, which matches SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) benefits, dollar for dollar, to increase the affordability of and access to healthy, local foods for low-income families in our community. By increasing access to the farmers market, Georgia Fresh for Less helps more members of our community connect with and support local growers, which strengthens our communities and pumps money back into our local economy.
The farmers market has been a place for all to come together, meet their neighbors, and make new friends. With Robins Air Force Base located in Warner Robins, members of our community hail from all over the world; over 60 different languages are spoken in our county school system. Many Air Force families shop here and some have become vendors selling produce, baked goods, coffee and more!
The market is the highlight of the week for our shoppers; many days you'll hear local, live music, shop from arts & crafts vendors, learn about our local food system, and build friendships with our farmers.
We appreciate your support of our efforts to increase access to fresh, local food for all members of our community while supporting our local farmers.
