ABOUT US Little Helping Hands Teen Activity Leads
Little Helping Hands’ summer youth leadership programs provide maturing volunteers with opportunities for practicing leadership and personal responsibility within the context of community service.
A major part of the Teen Lead program is also learning about non-profit fundraising and raising funds for a non-profit organization in need of supplies. We have chosen to support Foundation Communities’ Back to School Drive!
WHY SHOULD I MAKE A DONATION?
Students who participate in
Foundation Communities Learning Center Program are in need of school supplies to enhance their academic skills and dream big for the upcoming school year. We are also excited to be creating an additional volunteer opportunity for LHH families to assemble our backpacks!
HOW CAN I HELP?
You can donate funds that we’ll use to purchase school supplies.

We will also be accepting school supply donations. Supplies needed:
- Backpacks
- Glue, white liquid, 8 oz.
- Supply box
- Pencils (No. 2)
- Ballpoint pens (black or blue)
- Crayons
- Scissors (round tip and regular)
- Wire bound notebooks
- Red lead pencils
- Binder dividers
- Markers
- 12 inch rulers
- Erasers
Tax-deductible receipts will be provided for both monetary and in-kind donations.
WHERE SHOULD I DROP OFF SUPPLY DONATIONS?
Give them to a teen you know in the LHH Teen Program, or drop them off at
8711 Burnet Rd., Suite B-33, Austin, TX 78757, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. Please call ahead at (512) 358-6943 to ensure someone will be there to receive your donation.
WHEN SHOULD I MAKE MY DONATION?
You can make a monetary or in-kind donation until July 26th, 2017.
