The Jefferson-Taylor Family Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the importance and value of family. The foundation’s intention is to encourage healthy relationships within individual families by promoting family togetherness through routine activities such as family reunions. It is our mission to to improve and strengthen family relationships.  Empowering family unity through mutual love and respect within our family and families across the world.

Family is important because it provides love, support and a framework of values to each of its members. Family members teach each other, serve one another and share life's joys and sorrows. Families provide a setting for personal growth. A family works together to overcome struggles and to provide happiness to each of its members.

Healthy families provide all members with security, identity and values, regardless of age. When a member of the family feels insecure or unsafe, he/she to his/her family for help. He/she learns about sense of self and gains a foundation for the rest of his/her life. This foundation includes the family's values which provide the basis for his/her own moral code. Spending time with family shows individuals the value of love, appreciation and open communication.

When members exhibit negative behaviors tearing that lead to families drifting apart, unhealthy or dysfunctional family relationships are formed. In turn, this can create problems that may persist from one generation to the next. Mental health experts say poor relationships within families can cause depression, increased conflict, aggressive problem solving and poor health outcomes.

Each of us has a need to be connected to other people for meeting our social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual needs. Families have always been the best place for people to form these connections and meet these needs. Throughout history, this has never been an easy task, but certainly it has always been an important and rewarding one. Today, the challenge of creating a strong and nurturing family environment is difficult.

It is the mission of the Jefferson-Taylor Family Foundation to encourage individuals to take on the challenge of creating their own strong and nurturing family environment. We hope you join us on this journey.

To carry out our mission, The Jefferson-Taylor Family Foundation is holding it's first annual "Spring Fundraiser." The winner of the First Annual Spring Fundraiser will have the opportunity to choose from  the following five experiences. 1) The Ultimate Hamilton Experience on Broadway, 2) Napa Valley Backroads and Railways, 3)  Classic Wrigley Field Rooftop Experience, 4)  Puntacana Resort & Club Caribbean Paradise and 5) Disney World Family Adventure. Please see full descriptions of prizes to the right. The drawing will be held on May 1, 2018 and the winner will be notified by email.     Before the show, enjoy a 3-course dinner (not including alcohol) at a popular Theater District restaurant. Two original/past cast members from Hamilton will join you for dinner where you’ll be entertained with fascinating backstage anecdotes, personal success stories, photos and autographs. Following the show, enjoy a private in-theater meet and greet with a current cast member and receive a signed cast poster!

    The Meritage Resort and Spa (Napa)
    Enjoy a 3-night stay in a standard guest room including daily continental breakfast for two. Lavish guestrooms include features such as plush beds, marble baths, and plasma TVs.     At the Disney World Resort, the Disney Gift Card can be redeemed at select merchandise, food, ticketing, and Guest Service locations, select third party lessees and Downtown Disney District Operating Participant locations. The Disney Gift Card is only redeemable at Disney owned and operated hotels. This does not include the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort. Use the Disney Gift Card for reservations or aboard Disney Cruise Line.
