The Senhoa Global Raffle 2017 Fundraising Event will be held on Saturday, January 27 @ 7pm PST/10pm EST. Help us raise money for a great cause while taking a chance for awesome prizes.  All proceeds will be used for our Lotus Kids' Club (LKC).

Senhoa’s Lotus Kids’ Club provides children in marginalized communities a safe place to learn and play, making them less vulnerable towards entering the trafficking cycle.

Children between the ages of 4 to 6 have access to a preschool program.

LKC also educates parents and the community on the value of education and how trafficking is not a solution to fighting poverty..

We provide monthly food packages and our micro-loans and family. development allow parents to choose preschool, rather than child labor, for their kids.

Senhoa Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to combating modern-day slavery through education, employment and empowerment, one girl at a time. It is estimated that 21 million people are victims of forced labor globally; 80% are women and girls.

PROTECT 159 at-risk children via our Lotus Kid's Club. We teach basic literacy, math, English, computer skills, cooking and sewing.

FEED 134 families via our Nutrition Program. Monthly food packages and our micro-loans and family development programs allow parents to choose preschool, rather than child labor, for their kids.

PROVIDE medical and dental care, hygienic supplies, vaccinations and vitamins for all of our students.

EMPLOY 15 survivor artisans, offering them a fair wage, benefits, educational support and access to the global marketplace.

CONTEST RULES
 
SENHOA FOUNDATION is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of California for the primary purpose of operating programs addressing the prevention, rehabilitation and reintegration of survivors or persons vulnerable to human trafficking. The Senhoa Annual Raffle is conducted for the purpose of generating operating funds.
 
Sweepstakes begin at 7:00 pm PST on July 1, 2017 and end at 7:00 pm PST on December 30, 2017. The drawing will be at 7:30 PM PST. All times referenced for the Senhoa Annual Raffle are Pacific Standard Time.
 
I.NAME OF SPONSOR(S)
 
SENHOA FOUNDATION (Hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sponsor”).
 
II.ELIGIBILITY
 
AGE RESTRICTIONS Entrants must be  must be at least 18 years of age as of the drawing date on December 30, 2017. Contest void where prohibited.

RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS We apologize for the earlier mention that entrants must be US residents and retract this--entrants may reside outside the US.
 
Any individuals (including employees, consultants and independent contractors) who have, within the past six months, performed services for SENHOA FOUNDATION, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies are not eligible to enter or play. 
 
III.HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER
 
HOW TO ENTER: Purchase one or more raffle tickets during the Senhoa Global Raffle and you’ll be entered to win one of a number of great sponsored prizes, including international airline tickets, an IPhone 8, a $500 Amazon gift card, an iPad Mini 4, and a $250 Amazon gift card. Up to 5,000 tickets will be sold. No limit on the amount of tickets purchased per person so long as tickets are still available. Raffle tickets are $10 each, 3 for $25 or 10 for $50 and benefit Senhoa. Odds of winning are based on the number of ticket entries purchased up to 5000.

2.    From a Senhoa team member in select locations in Orange County, California (email [email protected] for details)
 
Once submitted (purchased), entries become the sole property of Senhoa Foundation and will not be returned or refunded.
 
The drawing will be held on December 30, 2017 at 7:30 PM PST in Orange County, CA at a location to be disclosed. Need not be present to win. 
 
Raffle tickets must be purchased by 7:00 PM PST December 30, 2017. 
 
Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the sweepstakes
is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
 
No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, 
delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this sweepstakes.
 
In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.
 
IV.HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
Winners will be selected at random on December 30, 2017 at approximately 7:30 pm PST from all valid raffle tickets received. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. Response to winner notifications must be received by Sponsor within 10 business days or the prize(s) will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting. Limit 1 prize maximum per winner for this contest.
 
Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received. 
 
V.PRIZE(S)
All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.
 
Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more. Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value. If won by a minor, prize will be awarded in parent’s or guardian’s name. Prize is subject to availability. Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation or preemption or other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill the prize. Under this unlikely situation, Sponsor’s only obligation will be to provide a prize of comparable value to the winner(s).
 
VI.RELEASES
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Judges and the sweepstakes administrator, which shall be final in all respects.
