We are one week away from school starting, and asking for donations to help us fully equip the room for grades 1-3. We will be adding students and material needs over the course of the next two years, but beginning with a full complement of materials is ideal.
Two years ago, this program was born from the vision of a group of parents and the leadership at CDS. 14 students were enrolled the first year, and 24 in the second. Relationships have grown and also respect for the excellent record CDS has of promoting the values of teamwork, problem solving, communication, and building of character.
Now, we are creating a space for these younger students to move on up in the Montessori curriculum. We have a space in the building. We feel very lucky to have hired teacher Rachel Harrod, a passionate and qualified Frankfort native. One task remains and that is raising the money to get Rachel the materials she needs to prepare the classroom. We are hoping this is where you will come in. Will you help us reach this goal to get our classroom off the ground?
FOR $100 DONATION, RECEIVE A TICKET TO OUR RAFFLE CONTEST FOR A WEEK IN ORLANDO, DURING THIS FALL BREAK, OCTOBER 1ST - 8TH. Purchase your raffle ticket online by following the instructions on this page. A generous donation from a CDS grandparent has made this possible. The raffle is limited to 20 tickets. Drawing will be held August 25th. The ticket winner will be able to transfer the prize to another name if they wish. This could be a great fall break vacation for somebody!
