To our dear Amart Furniture Family, 

On behalf of everyone at Ronald McDonald House Charities® Australia, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support and donation. 
 
With your help, we are getting closer to our Mission 2020 goals of ensuring we reach and support 60% more serious ill children and their families. 
 
Did you know that more than 38% of parents with hospitalised children still experience clinical levels of anxiety three (3) month after their child has left the hospital? 

RMHC provides a much needed home away from home and a helping hand to support these families through a very stressful period in their lives.  Families who stay at a Ronald McDonald House® reported a more positive overall hospital experience and that it helped them to be more involved in their child’s care and recovery. 
 
RMHC creates these key programs because FAMILIES DO MATTER, and they are part of the recovery process which is why it is so important to provide proximity and ease of access to support their children in need. 
 
Your ongoing donation will support:
  • 16 Houses in NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, WA and TAS providing accommodation and ease of access to hospitals, on hospital premise.
  • 15 Family Rooms® in NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, WA and TAS located within the major Children and Women’s Hospitals providing an escape from everyday hospital life.
  • A national award winning Learning Program® which services more than 1,200 children per week fulfilling the gap in education suffered during treatment.
  • 4 Family Retreats which provide holiday accommodation to regroup and reconnect. 
  • 1 Care Mobile® which travels around regional and rural NSW providing healthcare services to families in remote areas with limited access to these services.
