Kurt Rasmussen has been a good “friend of the shop” at Krebs Custom (and a friend to everyone IN the shop) for many years. Despite significant “challenges” he has always been one of the people we’re glad to see.
With recent “setbacks” in his wife’s health, we decided to try to assist him with his wife’s medical expenses, and thought this raffle would be a good way to do that.
In Kurt’s own words:
My name is Kurt Rasmussen and I have been married to my beautiful wife Katie for 19 years. For 16 of those years she has suffered from a long list of illnesses including: MS, Lupus, Sjogren's disease, and Crohn's disease but in early 2015 she was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glio Blastoma brain tumor. Katie underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor, the surgeons did their best work but sadly she was given only a year to live. Through the strength of her will she has survived for nearly 3 years now, much longer than expected. Through all of this my families out-of-pocket medical cost for treatments, prescriptions and insurance premiums has outstripped my income, exhausted all of our savings, retirement and the sale of personal assets of value. I'm presently working two jobs and sometimes three to keep going forward. Regretfully I am still overwhelmed with medical costs and I have nowhere else to turn but to the help, kindness, support, and generosity of others. Any help provided to us would be greatly appreciated and most wisely used to help the bravest and strongest woman I will ever know. Thank you. Built by Krebs Custom a number of years ago from a relatively small number of Zastava kits that came into the U.S., this model of rifle is unique in that it is among the first of the Zastava rifles to have a chrome-lined barrel. In addition, the length and contour of the barrel were modified at the factory to enhance the accuracy of the .223 cartridge in an AK platform. This rifle has the correct black oxide finish.
This rifle is as close to owning an original M90A as you will find.
The MB47 is patterned after the original milled Bulgarian receivers but with the added feature of an integrated AR buffer extension.
Each 2 pound receiver is machined in our Utah facility from a solid 15 pound block of US sourced 4140 steel, then heat treated to an RC41 hardness. The receiver is compatible with any milled AKM parts kit or any standard, stamped AKM parts kit. **Minimal fitting may be needed with the top cover & safety for the stamped receiver kits.
Russian-inspired muzzle brake, made here in the USA. Reduces felt recoil and compensates for muzzle rise due to angled ports. Black oxide finish.
This version is threaded for 14×1 LH Threading (Standard AKM).
Circle 10 AK Muzzle Devices
Circle 10 AK U.S. Made Muzzle Devices are compatible with the following calibers: 5.45x39mm, .223/5.56x45mm NATO, 7.62x39mm, .308/7.62×51 NATO and 7.62x54R. All Circle 10 AK Muzzle Devices are made here in the United States, although they may or not be marked as such. They also count for ONE (1) 922(r) compliant part.
This stock is the fixed variant of the Circle 10 AK Triangle Folding Stock for standard stamped AKMs. Made 100% in the USA from billet 6061 aluminum, it gives you the triangle stock look on your standard fixed stock trunnion stamped AKM. It is MILSPEC Type II Hardcoat anodized black and has 2 QD points on each side. Length is 8.75″ and weighs 14oz. This stock is 922(r) compliant.
Comes with hardware for assembly. Use the included hardware for installation, DO NOT use regular AK stock screws.
Note: Not compatible with Yugoslavian, Chinese or Milled AKs. This stock IS compatible with the Century Arms C39V2.
The new RRD-4C "slim" muzzle brake compensator is:
23% slimmer (.885" vs. 1.150") 35% lighter (1.8oz vs. 2.75oz)
While retaining all of the positive attributes of its bigger brother: Reduced recoil, reduced muzzle rise, and reduced flash! Even with its reduced size and weight it still remains very competitive with other "Big Box" companies while having a more "streamlined" appearance.
Caliber: .360" bore will work with 5.56, 5.45, 7.62x39 (not for use with .308 or x54r, please purchase the original RRD-4C)

Private Build Class with Jim Fuller of Rifle Dynamics

It is a 2 day class and has to be done on a weekend. The winner will have to pay for travel, a place to stay, as well as supply their own parts. Jim is willing to supply the parts if needed at his own cost. The winner will need to contact Jim at Rifle Dynamics for scheduling.
