Each year, Uplift Internationale conducts a two-week medical mission to provide reparative surgical care to indigent children in the rural Philippines born with facial deformities, primarily clefts of the lip and palate. The care is provided by healthcare professionals and outreach personnel who donate their time and expertise in addition to funding 85%-100% of their travel, meal and lodging expenses. The care is provided without cost to the children or their impoverished families and with minimal burden to the host hospitals. (Information provided by Uplift Internationale website.)

Here is where you can help! The proceeds from each raffle ticket will go towards the expenses for one of the Registered Nurses selected to participate, Anissa Ellis, RN. Right before Christmas this is a GREAT way to not only help the children but potentially get great gifts for the family!




CONTEST RULES

* Void where prohibited. Not all online charitable raffles are allowed in every state. Entrants are soley responsible for ensuring eligibility in their location. Promotion Description. The promotion begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 and ends at 1:00 am on Saturday November 11, 2017. Entries must be received by 1:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Promotion is void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules.

1. Eligibility. This promotion is open only to legal U.S. residents in the lower 48 states, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Any entrant violating any contest rules will be automatically disqualified without refund.

2. Entry. Purchased tickets are not refundable. Refunds will only be issued if the drawing does not occur due to lack of ticket sales. All proceeds from ticket sales go to the identified participant cost for Uplift Internationale, a non-profit organization. Purchase of this ticket constitutes full agreement by the purchaser with all terms and conditions set forth herein. Any funds raised in excess of participant cost will go directly to Uplift Internationale. 

Entries must be filled out completely and legibly (if ticket purchased in person) in order to qualify, and will be void if they are, in whole or in part, incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, counterfeit, altered, or obtained through theft or fraud. No mechanically reproduced, software-generated or other automated multiple entries are permitted. Sponsor(s) is/are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to transmission, technical, and/or network failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any hardware or software (whether originating with sender or Sponsor(s)), telephonic failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction. Winners will be required to provide full name, phone number and street address where prizes can be sent. 

3. Prize(s). The Grand prize is a Flat screen television (Approximate retail value - $300); 1st prize is a Laptop (Approximate retail value - $200); and 2nd prize is a Ruth Chris gift card  (Approximate retail value - $50), to be awarded Saturday, November 11, 2017. No cash settlement options are available. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to substitute a prize, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.

4. How the Prizes are Awarded. The grand prize and secondary prizes will be awarded by random drawing on Saturday, November 11, 2017 beginning at 6:00pm. Winners will be notified via email. Winners need not be present at the drawing. 5. Odds of Winning. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. 

6. Conditions of Acceptance of Prize. Winners will be notified by email and possibly telephone call.  A winner must provide a valid U.S. physical address in the lower 48 states for delivery of his or her prize or the prize will be forfeited. Sponsor(s) are not responsible for misdirected or lost prizes after shipment to the provided address. Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal income taxes, and other items of an incidental nature, due and payable at time of delivery. The winner of the prize(s) agrees to accept them new and “as is,” with absolutely no expressed or implied warranties given by the missionary recipient, any sponsors, or any partner charities. The winner accepting the prize(s) will be subject to all applicable laws and regulations including covenants and/or restrictions which may apply. Sponsors make no representations or warranties, express or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness of the other prizes for any specific purposes. Each winner agrees to the use of his or her name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering this promotion, each winner acknowledges that the sponsor(s), have the right to publicize and broadcast each winner’s name and likeness, the fact that he or she won, and all matters incidental thereto.

7. Limitation on Liability. By entering this promotion, each entrant forever discharges and releases Sponsor(s), its/their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, responsibility for property damage, loss of life, or personal injury or death resulting from or in connection with participating in the promotion or from or in connection with use or receipt of the prize(s), however caused.  

8. Sponsor’s Reservation of Rights. These official rules are subject to modification by the sponsor(s). In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by the sponsor(s). are final and binding. Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right, in its/their sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of Sponsor’s/Sponsors’ web site(s), or who otherwise acts in violation of these official rules.
