Have you ever wanted to fly on a B-17 or take a Discovery Flight to learn what general aviation is all about? The year, the East Hill Aviation Foundation is raffling off FIVE (5) rides on EAA's iconic fully restored World War II B-17G "Aluminum Overcast" and TEN (10) Discovery Flights where the winners get to pilot one of East Hill Flying Club's Cessna Aircraft in Ithaca, NY (ITH)! 

Proceeds will go to support the many activities and scholarship programs of East Hill Aviation Foundation (EHAF). Since 2013, EFAF has provided scholarships to aspiring pilots and has supported the activities of East Hill Flying Club in Ithaca NY.

FIRST PRIZES – 5 Rides (awarded Separately) on EAA’s Boeing B-17G – Aluminum Overcast during its stop in Ithaca, NY from Sep 14-16. SECOND PRIZES – 10 Discovery Flights (Awarded Separately) at East Hill Flying Club (Value - $149 each) Discovery flights can be scheduled at East Hill Flying Club at any mutual convenient time. Basic Rules

  • Purchases limited to those 18 years or older.
  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
  • Winners will be chosen by a random drawing on September 12, 2018.
  • Ticket holders need NOT be present to win.  We will notify all winners via email.
  • First Prize winners must use their prize during Aluminum Overcast's visit to Ithaca on September 14-16, 2018.  Second Prize winners Discovery Flights must be used by June 30, 2019.
  • Purchase as many entry tickets as you want -- no limit.
  • Entries accepted between August 1st and September 12, 2018 at 11:00am..
  • Purchase tickets here online or in person from representatives of East Hill Aviation Foundation or East Hill Flying Club.

  • FIRST PRIZES - Flight on Aluminum Overcast

    There are only 11 flying examples of the iconic Boeing B-17 left in the world.  Aluminum Overcast will visit Ithaca, NY (ITH) from September 14-16, 2018.  Winners can choose a seat on this fully restored WWII bomber that will fly through the Finger Lakes.

  • SECOND PRIZES - EHFC Discovery Flight

    Ever thought you might want to learn to fly?  You'll get to find out by piloting one of East Hill Flying Club's Cessna Aircraft on a Discovery Flight.  You will fly with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI,) see our beautiful community from the air and learn about General Aviation.  You can even bring a friend.
